There is no real village behind the beach, but a lot of green and undeveloped land, which is lined with beautiful accommodation.
The journey from Denpasar Airport to Pantai Green Bowl takes about half an hour to an hour and thirty minutes. From the Uluwatu Temple, you should plan on about 20 to 30 minutes. The journey from Nusa Dua is similarly short.

The steep way to the beach

The small Green Bowl Beach has no infrastructure, apart from the stairs leading down to it. There are no warungs or bars here. Only a few beach hawkers occasionally make their way to the beach. However, since it also happens that you don’t find any other visitors on the beach, it’s usually not worth the business.
Accordingly, in rare cases, you may have the Green Bowl Beach all to yourself and enjoy the peace and quiet. But even when there are other visitors, the beach is never overcrowded. The best conditions for a few relaxing hours.
Bathing at Green Bowl Beach
You should not expect to be able to swim or really bathe at Green Bowl Beach. At high tide, the beach can be completely submerged. At low tide, the reef, which begins just behind the beach, can get in the way of bathing fun. Of course, you can still go into the water for a quick cool down – preferably at mid-tide. But even then, you should definitely keep an eye on the currents and assess for yourself whether you should stay in the water.
